	Mirandolina De Assis MAIA , 16.05.1890 São Fidélis, RJ, Brazil, 01.07.1981 Brazil, [I8152], N: teacher, of Portuguese descendance. 8 children . Around 1930, João and Mirandolina sold the coffee farm and moved from São Fidelis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro to the city of Rio de Janeiro, then capital of Brasil. Coffee was not doing well and by then three of their older children (including my mother) had already moved to the capital. João DPA died in 1954. Mirandolina outlived him by some 30 years, dying at the age of 96, in the 1980s. CONT All eight of their children did well -- entrepreneurs, lawyers, public servants, teachers.
