, 08.10.1890 Bremen, 25.02.1979 Bremen, [I1966], Unternehmer , N: German aeronautical engineer and founder of Focke-Wulf airplane factory, (8th Great-Grandson of Claude de Herlin) On October 23, 1923, Professor Focke, Georg Wulf, and Dr. Werner Neumann founded in Bremen a German company, Focke-Wulf Flugzeugbau AG, a manufacturer of civil and military aircraft later used by the German Luftwaffe during World War II. The Focke-Wulf 190, a fighter, and the FW 200 equipped with four engines became famous aircrafts. Edith Simshäuser/Schabbehard when living in Rinteln during WWII, was obliged to work from 1943 on as secretary in one office of the company at Bad Eilsen. | ||
