Heintzen wrote Nov. 28, 2006 from Washington, D.C., “A word about the ‘General’ and his father, ‘Count Von Wedel’, mentioned in my documents. Since childhood I have heard about an ancestor refferred to a ‘Count’ Von Wedel; and in the writings of an elderly family member, the ‘Count’s’ son was referred to as ‘General’. So there is no confirm documenttion of any of this, only family oral history.�?
