3047	Wilhelm Christian Heinrich REIMKASTEN , 1854 Schwerin, Germany?, 04.04.1905 Bremerhaven, [I6967], A German ship’s captain, he was the last skipper of the “Grosse Kurfürst�? which regularly sailed between Bremen and New York City, , N: Lloydkapitän, Wilhelm was the master of the “Bremen�?, 11750 tons, of the Norddeutshe Lloyd (NDL) 1897-1899. Previously, the “Ems�?, Captain Reimkasten in command, arrived in NY City at the Bar at 3:40 A.M. on March 26, 1896. CONT He was also the last captain of the “Grosser Kurfuerst�? built in Danzig in 1899. She left Bremen on her maiden voyage to Southampton and New York City on May 5, 1900. On November 7th of that year she started her first Bremen-Suez Canal-Australia voyage and made nine such round trips on his service.

	Anna DANNEMANN «aus 615» , 08.07.1858 Bremen, 27.02.1928 Bremerhaven, [I6966], 4 daughters and one son, see family databank Dannemann. Her elder sister Anna Katharina married Captain Peter Christopher Poppe, so he was a brother -in-law of Wilhelm C.H.l Reimkasten.
