Subject of the "Sammlung Forck" are about 1200 biographies of Bremen pastors compiled by Frau Forck in close contact with the Evangelical Church of Bremen. You may have a look at "Bremer Pastoren, Zur Bremischen Pfarrergeschichte" (typed and handwritten file) under XIX d 2 b in the MAUS office (not borrowable). The biographies consist of detailed life data and informations on family, education, professional career, own publications and on publications about the person and his work.

Frau Tusnelda Luise Forck (1897-1972) worked as a senior technical instructor and was responsible for the MAUS library from 1954 through 1970.

This list may also be useful in a special case: The marriage entries in our family register Bremen und Vegesack (1811-1875) mention the pastor who performed the wedding but not the parish. Some birth entries too note the pastor's name but not the parish. By means of this list you are able to find the corresponding parish.
