In 1950 members of the MAUS registered informations from different sources about citizens of Bremen from the 16th and 17th century. This information were compiled into around 30.000 index cards.
These index cards have been scanned and copied.

The names often describe the place of residence or the origin of someone, especially from early citizens’ of Bremen:
