Then our experts are exactly the right people to contact. They are responsible for all questions relating to individual regions, districts, towns, and parishes. They have extensive knowledge and an overview of search options, sources, and archive materials. They work on a voluntary basis and try to help wherever they can.

Please understand that it may take a little longer to answer your questions carefully. The more information you provide about the people you are looking for, the greater the chance of success. Therefore, please provide all known data and locations, occupation, religion, sources already researched, etc.

It is helpful if existing documents are provided as scans or copies. For inquiries by mail, we ask that you enclose return postage. Information is generally provided free of charge by email. Only actual costs incurred must be reimbursed.
